I believe lasting social progress is achieved through understanding, education and constructive engagement, creating environments where everyone has equal opportunities regardless of their background or sexual orientation. No one should ever be marginalised, persecuted or treated as lesser because they are gay. Everyone should feel free to express themselves proudly, even if it’s just saying they enjoy a bit of cottaging.
